You can request a virtual card from an Extend user with a Registered Account or a Budget. Follow the instructions below to request a card.
Standard Card
1. Click the button at the top right of the screen (or tap the blue + button in the app).
2. Select Standard Card.
3. Enter the email address of the primary card holder or budget owner you’re requesting a card from.
4. Enter a Card Name.
Note: It may be helpful to name your card after what it’s for so charges can be easily identified and understood later.
5. Enter the Credit Limit needed.
6. Enter the Active Until date.
Note: This date determines the timeframe in which the card can be used, but should not be confused with the expiration date used for making purchases.
7. Optional: Upload any attachments and add notes.
8. Click Request Virtual Card. The primary card holder or budget owner you entered will then receive the request. If approved, you will receive a notification that your card is ready to use.
Recurring Card
1. Click the button at the top right of the screen (or tap the blue + button in the app).
2. Select Recurring Card.
3. Enter the email address of the primary card holder or budget owner you’re requesting a card from.
4. Enter a Card Name.
Note: It may be helpful to name your card after what it’s for so charges can be easily identified and understood later.
5. Enter the Credit Limit needed.
6. Choose an Recurring frequency.
7. Choose when the Recurring Ends. A summary of the card’s Credit Limit, Recurring Frequency, and when the Recurring Ends will be displayed below.
8. Optional: Upload any attachments and add notes.
9. Click Request Virtual Card. The primary card holder or budget owner you entered will then receive the request. If approved, you will receive a notification that your card is ready to use.
