Overview
Your transaction attachments and receipts on virtual cards can easily be synced with your accounting software through an integration in Extend.
In order to sync your attachments, you will want to be sure you have already connected your organization. If your organization is already connected to an integration, you can view it on the Integrations tab of the Organizations Settings page. If your org has not yet connected, you will need to do so first. Owners and Admins have permission to connect and manage an integration for the organization.
As the Owner, Admin, or Bookkeeper (who can sync transactions, but cannot manage the integration), you can review each transaction and its attachment(s) prior to syncing. Once transactions are synced with your accounting software you can easily push your attachments as well.
Bulk syncing attachments
- When you Sync to QuickBooks you will be prompted to sync any transaction attached. Select the checkbox to sync attachments.
- Your transaction attachments will be automatically synced and associated with transactions in QuickBooks
Syncing individual attachments
- From the Card Transactions, identify the transaction with attachments that you would like to push to your connected accounting software.
Note: You can only push attachments for transactions that have already been synced with your accounting software. - Open the transaction and select Push Attachments to QuickBooks this will immediately push the attachments to your accounting software. Once the attachments have been synced the status will update automatically.
You will be able to easily identify which transactions were synced to your accounting software and if any failed to push.
After pushing your transaction attachments you can manage synced attachments directly from your accounting software. You can continue to add additional attachments in Extend and sync at any time.
