Extend allows you to download your virtual card transactions in CSV format. This way, you can easily import the CSV file into your accounting or expense software of choice.
Note: While Extend lets you view your transactions on web and mobile, the CSV export is only available on web.
To download your transactions:
- Navigate to the “Expenses” section, Card Transactions Tab
- You will see a list of all transactions from cards associated with your account. If you want to see your own transactions only, you can use the Quick Filter to narrow the transactions to only yours.
- Apply any additional filters you want.
-
In the top right corner of the transactions list, click “Download Options” and select “CSV”.
Note: Any filters you have currently placed on your transactions list will be applied to the downloaded file.
-
Un-select any columns you wish to remove from the download. If you wish to download all attachments, check the “Include attachments…” box.
- After clicking download you will see a success message letting you know your file is being generated and that you will receive a link in your email.
-
Once your file is ready, click the link in your email. You will be prompted to log into Extend and your file will immediately download. Your file (CSV, plus attachments if selected) will appear in your Downloads folder.
Note: If you are having trouble downloading these files, pop-up blockers may be the issue. Allow pop-ups and try again.
If your finance team needs access to download transactions, you can assign them a Bookkeeper role.
