Extend allows you to download your virtual card transactions in QBO format. This way, you can easily import the file into Quickbooks.
Note: While Extend lets you view your transactions on web and mobile, the QBO export is only available for select issuers on on web.
To download your transactions:
- Navigate to the “Expenses” section, Transactions Tab
-
You will see a list of all transactions from cards associated with your account. If you want to see your own transactions only, you can toggle on the “Your Transactions” filter.
- In the top right corner of the transactions list, click “Download Options” and select “Export for Quickbooks”.
4. Open QuickBooks Desktop and log in to your company file as an administrator.
5. Go to File > Utilities > Import > Web Connect Files. Locate and select the .QBO file you generated from Extend. Choose the bank account. If the account is already in QuickBooks, select it from the dropdown. If it’s a new account, select Create a new QuickBooks account and follow the prompts.
Note: Using an unsupported version or an outdated release of Quickbooks Desktop may result in errors or being unable to import .QBO files. Please ensure you have a supported version or contact your Intuit Support for guidance.
